Thread: Elevation change?

  1. #1

    Default Elevation change?

i notice that when i play at my current home (and on our seasonal mountain course) (elevation 4000 to 5000 feet) to the valley (1000 feet to 1400 feet) that my disc's seem more stable at higher elevation? does this seem true to physics? less air density = more stable? looking for more input let me know what you think?

Yet wind makes discs more under stable.

I have heard that being higher up will make your disc more stable. I had a chance to see it first hand: I tossed a disc off a real high cliff in Arizona and that thing soared for a good 2 minutes, no joke, before hitting the ground a good mile away. I hope I can transfer the video to my computer because it is one heck of a throw. I still got the disc too! We hiked down and found it, I still use it!
